Peggy Sue Fisher graduated from UCLA where she received a B.A. in Modern Dance and teaching credentials in both Elementary Education and Physical Education.
Her work with children reflects a blend of a rich background in dance,
movement therapy, movement expression, musical theater, gymnastics and child
development. Through Gymtastics, Peggy has been leading children in self-discovery
since it's inception in 1981.
"I am more interested in moving than technique. Skills must be
developed with correct form and safety; yet, movement done freely, expansively,
intelligently and sensitively brings awareness and wholeness both to the individual
and to our social circles.
I am proud to graduate vibrant well-rounded children who grow up equally
comfortable participating in any sport, physical activity, nature experience or
art form; who can think as clearly when balancing upside down as when jumping
from the couch at home."
